Our Services:
Bracken Lodge is registered to provide accommodation for up to 10 people aged 21 & over who have learning disabilities, Epilepsy Autism/ASD, Downs Syndrome and physical disabilities.
By delivering a range of flexible care and support services we will ensure people with learning disabilities are as independent as possible and connected with their local communities.
Our staff have been specifically trained and our daily program of activities centre on the needs of those with learning disability. Our facilities have been adapted to ensure we provide a safe and secure environment and we have taken advice from care specialists to ensure our home meets the needs of all our residents.
From our experience, people who are involved in activities within the community have a greater sense of well-being. To this end, we encourage local people to use our services so that all our residents can retain as many links with friends, neighbours and their community as possible.
Our staff spend time listening to those they care for and act upon their requests, this information is all fed back into our advanced care plans and to our activities planning to ensure those that we care for have choice, dignity and respect. All of our staff are friendly, warm-hearted and we feel this helps those with learning disabilities to feel happy and relaxed.
